Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform calculations and hydraulic analysis for process piping.
- Preparation of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P & I Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause & Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, Sequence of Operation, HAZOP Studies & reports, and providing necessary engineering inputs to the other disciplines and other departments.
- Hydrostatic design and calculations, knowledge of constructability and other process related studies.
- Preparation & Issue of RFQ’s, evaluation of vendor’s quotations, clarifications, Technical Bid Analysis etc.
- Review of vendor’s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Extensive knowledge of hydraulic calculations, Surge Analysis, relief and flare system design, pipe sizing optimization and other Process systems calculations.
- Knowledge of HAZOP, Process software (such as HYSYS, PIPENET, PIPEPHASE, FLARENET).
- Conversant with Engineering Standards such as API, NFPA, ASME, BS / EN and Client Standards.
- Knowledge of Engineering Standards of Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SCECO is an added advantage.
