Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Process Design & Documentation

  • Develop end-to-end business processes using SIPOC, process flow diagrams, and detailed workflows.
  • Create and maintain process maps, procedures, and work instructions for core and support functions.
  • Ensure process alignment across manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, finance, HR, and support functions.
  • Use Microsoft Visio and standard templates for process visualization and documentation.

2. SOP, Policy & Guideline Development

  • Prepare, review, and update SOPs, policies, and operational guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, version control, and approval workflows.
  • Align policies and SOPs with organizational standards, compliance requirements, and ERP processes.
  • Drive standardization across factories / departments.

3. Process Training & Change Enablement

  • Conduct process awareness and SOP training for functional teams.
  • Support departments during new process rollouts, revisions, and system changes.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and process manuals.
  • Act as a change agent to improve process adoption and discipline.

4. Process Audits & Governance

  • Plan and execute process compliance audits across departments.
  • Identify gaps, non-conformances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure closure.
  • Support management reviews with audit findings and maturity assessments.

5. Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Identify opportunities for process simplification, waste elimination, and cycle time reduction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using basic Lean and process improvement tools.
  • Support cross-functional improvement projects and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Measure benefits and ensure sustainable improvements.

6. Digitalization & ERP Enablement

  • Support process digitalization initiatives and transition from manual to system-driven processes.
  • Work closely with IT / ERP teams for SAP / ERP process mapping, configuration support, and testing.
  • Ensure process documentation aligns with ERP transactions and workflows.
  • Assist in ERP implementations, enhancements, and rollouts.

7. MIS & KPI Management

  • Define process KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting structures.
  • Develop MIS dashboards and reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Track process performance, compliance levels, and improvement status.
  • Present insights and recommendations to management.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM)
  • Hands-on experience with SIPOC, process mapping, SOP development
  • Experience in process audits and governance frameworks
  • Working knowledge of SAP / ERP systems and process integration
  • Exposure to digitalization and system-driven workflows
  • Strong MIS and KPI tracking capability
