Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Process & Quality Engineer will design, implement, and optimize maintenance and workshop processes to enhance safety, compliance, and production efficiency. This role ensures that maintenance workflows meet regulatory requirements and company standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop and documents maintenance and workshop processes aligned with aviation regulations and company policies.

Analyzes current workflows to identify inefficiencies, safety risks, and non-compliance issues.

Collaborate with maintenance & production planning teams to implement process improvements that boost productivity and safety.

Initiate and steer execution of projects from recommendations, suggestions & feedback from staff

Monitor and report on process performance using key metrics.

Lead training and awareness programs to ensure team adherence to updated procedures.

Support audits and inspections by providing process documentation and evidence of compliance.

Work closely with QA engineers to integrate quality standards into maintenance processes.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Industrial) or related field

Knowledge of aviation quality standards and regulations (EASA, GCAA) is preferred.

Auditing and inspection skills are preferred.

Proficient in root cause analysis, data interpretation, and performance monitoring.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Analyze maintenance timelines, resource plans, and operational risk.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal, across departments and levels.

Capable of resolving planning conflicts, bottlenecks, and compliance issues.

Awareness of human factors in aircraft maintenance activities.

Physically fit and able to work in various operational conditions (e.g., confined spaces, outdoor environments).

Understanding of base maintenance operations, hangar workflows, and heavy check coordination.

Work Experience

2-3 years of experience in Aircraft Engineering, Proven experience in process development and/or aviation maintenance or a highly regulated industry. (Projects) is must.
