Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the Procurement Team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate procurement records.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and comply with company policies.
- Track and monitor orders from placement to delivery, proactively communicating with suppliers and internal teams regarding status updates.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, product information, and delivery schedules.
- Support in conducting basic market research to identify potential new suppliers and materials.
- Assist in maintaining an organized vendor database, including contact information, pricing, and performance records.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery timelines.
- Address and resolve minor discrepancies or issues with deliveries and invoices under the guidance of the Procurement Manager/Buyer.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, spend, and supplier performance as required.
- Contribute to maintaining a smooth and efficient procurement workflow.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- 4-5 years of experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within a procurement, supply chain, or construction environment .
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes and principles is a plus.
