Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Procurement Team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate procurement records.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and comply with company policies.
  • Track and monitor orders from placement to delivery, proactively communicating with suppliers and internal teams regarding status updates.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, product information, and delivery schedules.
  • Support in conducting basic market research to identify potential new suppliers and materials.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized vendor database, including contact information, pricing, and performance records.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Address and resolve minor discrepancies or issues with deliveries and invoices under the guidance of the Procurement Manager/Buyer.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities, spend, and supplier performance as required.
  • Contribute to maintaining a smooth and efficient procurement workflow.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 4-5 years of experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within a procurement, supply chain, or construction environment .
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and principles is a plus.
