Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to support our project teams by sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires strong negotiation skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a solid understanding of procurement and logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review procurement requirements received from project stakeholders and issue RFQs to relevant suppliers.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and submit them to the project team for evaluation.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and conditions to secure optimal deals aligned with project needs.
- Prepare purchase orders and submit them for internal approval prior to issuance.
- Send approved purchase orders to suppliers and ensure acknowledgment is received.
- Follow up on missing or pending Material Traceability Certificates.
- Coordinate with the Logistics team to arrange collection and delivery of materials once ready.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure consistent service and quality.
- Proactively source new suppliers to expand the vendor base.
- Make informed, professional decisions in a fast-paced work environment.

Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- High School certification or higher education (diploma/degree preferred).
- Strong understanding of procurement systems, policies, and processes.
- Good knowledge of the local market and supplier landscape.
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems preferred).
- Knowledge of import/export procedures is an advantage.
