Procurement Engineer

• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services and supplies
• Sound technical knowledge of the products procured.

• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
• Three (3) years previous experience as procurement officer or related position
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions
• Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer small contracts
• Product knowledge
• Flexible attitude to duties
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Capability to take ownership and responsibility
• Ability to adapt to individual and operational change in a diverse and fast-paced organisation
• High level of integrity
• Fluent in written and verbal communication in English
• Goal-oriented, organised team player
• PC Literate
