Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Purpose
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement procurement strategies, source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to secure goods and services at the best value. Key responsibilities also involve managing the project scopes, tender and purchase process and control costs.
Key responsibilities
- Strategy and planning: Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Supplier and vendor management: Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers. Negotiate contracts and manage long-term relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Cost and budget control: Oversee the procurement budget, analyze costs, and implement strategies to achieve long-term savings.
- Process management: Manage the purchasing process, including approving purchase orders, finalizing delivery details, and overseeing inventory levels.
- Risk and compliance: Conduct risk assessments on agreements, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and manage supply chain risks.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments like finance, operations, and legal to ensure clarity of specifications and favorable contract terms.
- ERP Implementation: Ensure requesters, stores and purchase team are well versed in compliance with the implemented procurement system.

Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Supply Chain or Business Administration.
Preferred Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Certificate in PMP, HSE, is an advantage.
Experience
At least 10 years of experience in technical procurement such as development projects such as real estate, factories, warehouses, urban, industrial.
A minimum of 2 years as a Procurement, Purchase or Supply Chain Manager.
Required skills and qualifications
- Analytical skills: Ability to perform cost analysis, data analysis, and market research.
- Technical Skills: High ability in understanding MEP ad Real Estate Development technical requirements.
- Negotiation skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and secure advantageous terms.
- Leadership and management: Experience managing and developing a team of procurement specialists.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Knowledge: Expertise in procurement policies, procedures, and best practices, including contract management and risk management.
