Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Organize and lead a team of procurement engineers and coordinators in full accordance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

2. Responsible for monitoring and supervising the weekly procurement status report for pre-order and post-order stages.

3. Implementing approved procurement policies and procedures and ensuring that the work carried out in a controlled manner.

4. Supplier Selection including contracting strategy formulation, receiving Procurement Requisition, analyzing requirements, specifications, Vendor document deliverable requirements, delivery requirements, preparation of RBL and ITB, bid evaluation strategy, performing cost analysis towards budget, award recommendation for management committee, and develop contract with award issuance formalities

5. Pre award and post-award management of critical package as per project requirements

6. Adept to managing the post order activities and develop systematic Vendor evaluation and rating performance

7. Responsible for PO issuance registers, PBG, ABG, WBG registers, VPIM Register, VDRL document register, SRN, IRN

8. Responsible for monitoring the post-order weekly expediting status report for management and the company

9. Vendor progress report submission to project control on a biweekly basis

10. Reviewing the vendor's biweekly progress report, flagging potential delay and submitting weekly reports to the project control manager and project management team so as to align the schedule and preparation of Risk analysis and mitigation

11. Expediting with monitoring Vendor's performance, monitoring meetings, Monthly Progress reports with mitigation and recovery plan (if any), secure contract security documents (ABG, PBG, insurances), monitoring utilization of PO Contact value, changes, amendments, and contract claims, contract extensions or renewals, claims, disputes, and PO/contract close-outs.

12. Interface with the company, PMT, and engineering construction in all apsects during the course of project procurement execution.

13. Complying with the project's baseline programs to ensure that the materials are delivered on timely manner as per the project's requirements.

14. Assisting the PMT and Commissioning Team for support needed from vendors/OEMs in regard to SAT, installation, and commissioning


Desired Candidate Profile

With minimum experience of 16 years in which 6 years in a managerial position

Degree in supply chain or related

Handled high scale projects
