Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description :


Develop and execute procurement strategies specific to MEP materials and systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Electrical).
Source and evaluate suppliers/subcontractors for technical capability, reliability, and pricing.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis, alternative materials, and local sourcing.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and subcontractors.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and contracts to secure favorable terms.
Collaborate closely with the engineering, estimation, and project management teams to understand material specifications and project timelines.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid project delays
Maintain awareness of material lead times, logistics, and site coordination.
Manage material demand planning and ensure optimal inventory levels to support ongoing projects.
Monitor procurement budgets, control costs, and prepare regular procurement reports.
Ensure all procurement activities align with project cost controls and schedules.
Lead and mentor the procurement team to ensure high performance and professional development.
Assign tasks, monitor workloads, and review team outputs for quality and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and legal standards.
Oversee proper documentation of purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier agreements
Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of Procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a Lead or Managerial role within the MEP industry in UAE.
Deep understanding of MEP materials, equipment, systems, and industry-specific suppliers.
