POSITION PURPOSE:
To develop strategies and tactics around improving services and cost to the business that support the company s overall mission and strategic priorities. Develop best of class procurement processes and policy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supply Management
Work directly with vendors, and manufacturers, through forecasting and supply management, to ensure no interruptions of product supply
Supplier Partner Relations
Work with vendors in negotiating better services/costs on all products/services. Review present costs and products and identify areas/processes/products that can be re-priced or changed to improve margins
Contract Management
Work with all vendors to improve contract management process and tools to protect
Procurement/Inventory/Product code Systems
Ensure functionality and accuracy of procurement systems; work with IT to improve as business needs change
Company Support
24/7/365 availability to resolve inquiries/issues
KNOWLEDGE:
• Strong understanding of supply chain logistics to keep appropriate product levels throughout (manufacturer, distributor, and cinema) and to ensure vessel programs are produced and distributed in a timely manner
• Foresight to assist in designing new systems to ensure the goals of the company and department are properly executed and met through the new systems
• Strong understanding of inventory management processes and best practices
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic are essential both for internal (Deal Sheets, inter-department communication, support, etc.) and external communications (vendor direction/relationships)
• Strong negotiating skills to ensure all potential Vendor opportunities are identified and proactively approached. Be seen as the leader and the best of class in our industry
• Strong analytical skills are required for understanding the impact of programs on metrics and to be able to make decisions/recommendations based on those results
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor s degree or commensurate work experience
• MBA or advanced negotiation training
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
• 3+ years of high-level negotiation experience
