Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Factory Identification & Evaluation
Research, shortlist, and evaluate potential contract manufacturers for supplement blending and packaging.
Conduct factory visits to assess capabilities, hygiene standards, certifications, equipment, and production capacity.
Negotiate terms, MOQs, timelines, and quality expectations.
Prepare comparison reports and recommend the most suitable manufacturing partner.
2. Raw Material & Ingredient Procurement
Source high‑quality nutraceutical ingredients (vitamins, minerals, botanicals, excipients, flavors, sweeteners, etc.).
Evaluate suppliers based on quality certifications, reliability, pricing, and regulatory compliance.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, MOQs, and delivery schedules.
Maintain a robust supplier database with performance tracking.
3. Supplier Management & Compliance
Conduct supplier audits and factory visits to verify GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other certifications.
Ensure all suppliers provide COAs, MSDS, allergen statements, and regulatory documentation.
Build long‑term relationships with reliable vendors while continuously scouting new options.
4. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Forecast material requirements based on production plans and sales projections.
Coordinate logistics, customs clearance, and warehousing.
Implement systems for tracking batch numbers, expiry dates, and traceability.
5. Any Adhoc Tasks that may come up.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
3–7 years of procurement experience in food supplements, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG.
Strong understanding of raw materials used in supplement manufacturing.
Experience with GMP‑compliant supply chains.
Familiarity with import/export processes and regulatory documentation.
Skills & Competencies
Strong negotiation and vendor‑management skills.
Excellent understanding of COAs, MSDS, and ingredient specifications.
Ability to evaluate supplier quality and manufacturing standards.
Strong analytical and forecasting abilities.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and procurement software.
Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Proficient in English.
Proficient in basic software like Microsoft Office.

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, quality‑driven environment.
