Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Procurement with expertise in Supplier Relationship Management, Process Control and Monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in vendor classification, vendor performance evaluation and governance structure, process and policy deployment, continuous process improvement, and implementation across the organization. Additionally, the candidate should have a keen attention to detail, experience in managing procurement audits, strong analytics and problem-solving skills, and a background in procurement risk identification and mitigation in the real estate and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement supplier relationship management strategies to optimize vendor performance and drive value for the organization.

2. Lead vendor classification efforts to segment suppliers based on criticality and strategic importance.

3. Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and establish governance structures to ensure compliance and accountability.

4. Drive the deployment of procurement processes and policies across the organization, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

5. Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline procurement operations and enhance supplier relationships.

6. Manage procurement audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. 7. Utilize analytics to identify opportunities for cost savings, process efficiencies, and supplier performance enhancements.

8. Develop and implement procurement risk mitigation strategies specific to the real estate and construction industry.

Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

2. 13+ years of experience in corporate procurement, with a focus on supplier relationship management.

3. Proven track record in vendor classification, performance evaluation, and governance structure implementation.

4. Experience in deploying and improving procurement processes and policies at an organizational level.

5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems related to procurement and supplier management.

6. Familiarity with procurement audits and demonstrated expertise in managing audit processes.

7. Knowledge of risk identification and mitigation strategies specific to the real estate and construction industry.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

9. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
