Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities with the procurement engineer for Civil, Infrastructure, and MEP packages.

  • Prepare RFQs/RFPs, review technical and commercial bids, and conduct bid evaluations.

  • Source and prequalify vendors and subcontractors in line with project requirements.

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms with suppliers.

  • Coordinate with engineering, planning, and project teams to ensure timely procurement.

  • Issue purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Ensure materials and services comply with project specifications and ADNOC standards.

  • Maintain procurement logs, cost comparisons, and vendor performance records.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing strategies.

  • Support contract administration and resolve procurement-related issues.

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project budgets.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or business administration.

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on procurement experience in the UAE, specifically with infrastructure-focused contracting firms.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ADNOC standards and procurement requirements, and the local supplier market in Abu Dhabi.

  • Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Language: Fluency in English (written and verbal).
