Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities to meet project requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, focusing on pricing, terms, and conditions to maximize value for the organization.
  • Manage supplier relationships through regular performance evaluations and feedback to ensure compliance with service levels.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and establish effective communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement processes, including contracts, agreements, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions and anticipate potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate procurement risks and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry best practices to maintain ethical procurement standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field is essential.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Purchasing Officer (CPPO) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are highly valued.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant procurement experience in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Experience in a Construction, such civil infrastructure construction, is preferred to understand sector-specific procurement needs.
  • Candidates from diverse nationalities are encouraged to apply to foster a global perspective within the team.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages can be an asset for international sourcing.
