Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers for household consumables like detergents, health, and beauty products, ensuring optimal pricing and terms.
- Manage the procurement cycle, from identifying needs to delivery, focusing on timely acquisition of high-quality products within budget constraints.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products, staying abreast of industry trends in the detergent, health, and beauty sectors.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost, fostering strong relationships for long-term partnerships.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste for detergent, health, and beauty product categories.
- Analyze spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities, implementing strategies to improve procurement efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain procurement reports, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations, in all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, sales) to understand product requirements and align procurement strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven experience (3+ years) in procurement, specifically within the detergent, health, and beauty industry.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- A proactive and results-driven individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
