Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Negotiate favorable pricing and contracts with shipping vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money, focusing on volume discounts and long-term agreements.
- Manage the end-to-end shipping process, including customs clearance, documentation, and freight forwarding, guaranteeing timely and compliant delivery of goods.
- Oversee inventory levels and reorder points for shipping supplies, proactively managing stock to prevent shortages and ensure operational efficiency.
- Analyze shipping data and identify opportunities for process improvement, optimizing routes, carriers, and packaging to minimize costs and transit times.
Desired Candidate Profile
Holds a minimum of 1-5 years of experience in procurement, logistics, and shipping, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry.
Demonstrates proficiency in using ERP systems and procurement software, enabling efficient data management and analysis.
Exhibits a strong understanding of international shipping regulations, including Incoterms, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
Spouse or Own Visa is preferred but not necessary.
