Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Business or
equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in
Procurement
Job Description:
- Source for reliable suppliers in several
fields related to construction such as:
Structural, Architectural, Mechanical,
Electrical, Infrastructural, Safety,
Furniture, IT, Smart systems, Facility
Management, Testing, etc. ;
- Find suppliers who can provide
materials by bartering (against
apartment(s) in one of our projects)
- Secure offers in line with specifications,
designs, models (selected by the
architect), budgets, and certificates
(Breeam);
- Conduct a comparative analysis on
supplier prices;
- Negotiate prices, delivery time and
payment conditions;
- Prepare purchase orders in accordance
with the company policies;
- Purchase from local and international
markets (Chinese, Australian, Brazilian,
etc.);
- Prepare and update landed prices for
products and materials needed from
international suppliers (add freight,
insurance, tax, transportation,
clearance, etc.);
- Calculate the area and volume of
purchased products and materials to
prepare space in our warehouses;
- Provide consultants and technical
controllers with manufacturers data,
datasheets, certificates, guarantee
certificates, test reports, manufacturers
confirmation of compliance with
specifications / standards, user s
manuals / training programs, other
documents, samples, and specs clauses
for specific products and materials;
- Compare tenders received from
contractors;
- Expedite and secure delivers from
supplier to different sites
- Review and approve invoices received
from suppliers and request for credit
notes when needed;
- Review contractors invoices related to
purchasing activities and conduct
investigations when needed;
- Follow up with suppliers to collect the
deposit in case of order cancellation;
- Prepare regularly reports on
procurement activities;
- Review claims of purchasing requests
and solve the problems;
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- MS Office Word, Excel,
- Writing reports
- ERP System (is a plus)
- English, French & Arabic

- Work ethically and with integrity
- Be a good communicator
- Work under pressure
