Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage the assigned Product (Accessories Merchandise ) portfolio and be responsible for delivering the revenue and profit goals by managing independently their 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion and Place).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Product Programs
o Research product line and content
o Determine product portfolio
o Formulate price position, forecast sales volume and set profitability targets
o Write product bulletins, Create Brochures, Digital content.
Enhance Product Programs
o Perform continuous gap analysis to determine opportunities for portfolio enhancement to generate incremental revenue and contribution margins
o Monitor revenue and profitability by watching the sales mix and take corrective action where
required To Monitor cost changes and reflect them to protect program profitability
o Ensure timely availability for new part numbers
o Maintain adequate liaison with suppliers and platforms for part number updates and promotional support
o Field Team Interaction and Distributor Support
o Have regular interaction with the field team to update them on assigned programs
o Conduct program familiarization programs
o Introduce local product programs by interacting with Local suppliers
o Handle overseas suppliers and ensure the availability
o Coordinate and support with the vehicle sales team for creating value based programs
Cataloging & POS Support
o Maintain and develop competitive cross reference information
o Provide information for catalog development
o Brief marketing for relevant POS material
o Maintain and improve the Digital content on timely manner.
Special Projects
o Handle special sales accounts
o Introduce new special products based on requirement
Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competencies
Knowledge and Experience:
o Five years plus automotive experience preferably in the OEM environment
o Working knowledge of automotive accessories preferred.
o Product planning experience is an added advantage.
o Channel Management, English and Arabic Language, Accounting basics, Communications, Computers skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Education and Training basics.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
o College degree preferably in Engineering / Business.
o MBA added advantage
Skills:
o Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint and Excel), Good presentation skills, good project
management skills, strong negotiation skills, proactive initiative taking skills, innovation. Capacity to understand and plan for future years.
