The Personal loans business has been a
significant contributor in revenue & volumes over the past few years for
the retail bank. In the year 2017, business delivered total revenue of AED
440Mn plus with a balance sheet of close to AED 7.2Bn. This transformation has
been driven by the role of the product management team evolving from revenue
originations support to managing business profitability.
Job role will
involve below mentioned key responsibilities
Product and portfolio management which includes existing
business management new product rollouts and revenue management
Increase new business penetration across key relationships
Develop and manage promotions and campaigns internally
Product performance and portfolio tracking
Deliver the agreed top line and bottom-line for the product
Support multiple sales channels including Direct Sales
Branches
Manage and execute new value propositions promotions and
tactical offers across all channels
Given the central role of the business interface and support
multifunctional stake holders
Marketing interface on dissemination of new schemes and
promotions
Training channels and key stakeholders on new products and
promotions
Focus on new growth segments digital online social media and
mobile
Work on new products including cash loan and other
opportunities
Job Description:
The key objective is to achieve the financial goals that
includes portfolio, acquisition and revenue.
Maximize the product use leading to good impact and benefits
on organization.
Develop a strategy to sell and promote the product.
Role requires detailed planning business budgeting and
forecasting develop 3-year plans and continuously monitor the performance of
the portfolio against targets In addition, it involves strategic reviewing on
existing business models and includes introduction of new ones (sales model
process flows).
Assess various risks and develop mitigants to safeguard banks
profitability and reputation.
Introduce and rationalize process to adopt best practices.
Explore new products like Personal cash loan Lead the digital
platform with creating new sales channels like online mobile etc.
Design market research projects to assess customer attitudes
to the current product range and new product introductions. Either conduct this
research with in-house staff or manage an outside agency i.e. initial
identification of suitable partner, definition of responsibilities,
communication plan, divisions of responsibility, milestones, contract with
company, review transcripts and reports, and recommend action plans from the
research.
To launch effective promotions and campaigns for profitable
customer segments through ATL campaigns, internal campaigns emailer/ sms / broadcasts.
Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan and
for controlling advertising, promotion and sales aids in accordance with the
annual marketing plan.
Launch campaigns to increase and generate sales leads, to
provide offerings to customer in order to meet market demands and trigger sales,
and to provide customer a full lifecycle banking experience.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum
Bachelor s Degree
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Minimum 10 years experience on Retail Banking
Ability to develop
innovative and profitable product variants
Strong analytical skills
Proficient on internal Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) on asset
products
Knowledgeable on the amortization of fee lines e.g. Credit
Life Insurance
Knowledgeable in Retail banking products
Knowledgeable in banking systems and reporting tools such as
Finacle, FinnOne , COGNOS
Full understanding of the Retail lending platform to leverage
system capabilities for controls and processes
Understands the scheme parameterization for controls and
avoid revenue leakage
Knowledgeable with risk based pricing and scorecards
Ability to manage and interact with other key stakeholders
both direct business units and support units
Ability to communicate well with others
Have good time management and able to work under pressure
Ability to multitask on multiple business priorities
Self-motivated and must have a good decision making
Ability to balance workloads efficiently
Ability to work closely with other teams and departments
Ability to work seamlessly with all stakeholders both
internal and external parties
Must have strong people skills
