Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor joinery production activities to ensure timely delivery of projects as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed production plans, cutting lists, material take-offs, and work orders for factory execution.
  • Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, and site teams to align production priorities with project timelines.
  • Optimize use of manpower, machinery, and materials to improve productivity and reduce waste.
  • Monitor daily production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all joinery works comply with approved shop drawings, quality standards, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate procurement and availability of raw materials, hardware, and finishes to avoid production delays.
  • Implement and monitor production KPIs, efficiency reports, and cost control measures.
  • Support site installation teams by ensuring accurate fabrication, proper sequencing, and timely dispatch.
  • Maintain production records, reports, and documentation while ensuring adherence to HSE and factory safety standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in joinery and interior fit-out manufacturing environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience in wood joinery, bespoke furniture, casework, and fit-out components.
  • Proven expertise in production planning, scheduling, and factory workflow management.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, BOQs, cutting lists, and material specifications.
  • Strong coordination skills with design, procurement, and site execution teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production planning tools (AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage).
  • Solid understanding of joinery materials, hardware, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  • Experience in GCC/UAE joinery factories and fit-out projects is highly preferred.
