Position Overview

• Job Title: Production Engineer
• Reports to: Production Manager/DGM-Operations
• Department: Production

Job Purpose:
Lead and manage the entire production process to ensure high-quality output, cost efficiency, safety, and timely delivery, while driving continuous improvement across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and implement effective production schedules.
• Optimize resource utilization and coordinate with supply chain, quality, and maintenance teams.

Operations Management

• Supervise daily production activities and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate reports and ensure smooth operations.

Quality & Compliance

• Enforce adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

People Management

• Lead, train, and motivate production teams.
• Manage shift planning, attendance, and team discipline.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S implementation, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Education & Experience

• Qualification: Bachelors / Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
• Experience: 3 10 years in manufacturing/production (minimum 3 years in a managerial role)
• Industry Preference: HVAC, Automotive, Electronics, or related manufacturing sectors
