Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer with strong expertise in polystyrene operations (EPS, HIPS, GPPS) to join our petrochemical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production performance, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous process improvements in line with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and audit material and energy balances to identify process efficiencies, yields, and losses.
  • Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly production reports.
  • Perform all SAP transactions Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, and Service Entry Sheet.
  • Ensure unit operations are within design limits and product quality meets specifications.
  • Optimize plant KPIs and support sustainability targets.
  • Conduct technical and feasibility studies for process improvements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to resolve bottlenecks and improve reliability.
  • Review technical reports, vendor recommendations, and change proposals for implementation.
  • Support EHSS and Quality teams in investigations and audits.


Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical preferred)
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Polystyrene Field (EPS, HIPS, GPPS)
  • Strong technical knowledge of petrochemical operations
  • Good understanding of HSE regulations and compliance
  • Excellent analytical, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in SAP for production and procurement activities
