Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist and work closely with the project construction team with project tracking system, schedule management,material distribution/control and any day-to-day construction requirements. Assist and work closely with the project construction team and painting supervision to meet project day to dayand milestone targets based on project schedule. Estimate the quantity of consumables to be procured for the project scope. Attend weekly Project Production meeting and Procurement interface meetings. Liaise with QC coordinator / Inspectors and assist with monitoring quality related issues. Prepare technical queries and raise site queries. Authority to issue painting work packs to supervision for job execution. Prepare manpower and equipment forecasts, mob and de-mob plans based painting schedule. Prepare trackers for daily paint and garnet consumption. Issue and follow up different trackers associated with consumables, manhours, equipment and safety KPI. Authority to update weekly project progress and monitor the cost performance index. Update and prepare weekly paint plan and monitor the schedule performance index. Monitor the progress of subcontractor activities and conduct weekly review meetings with subcontractor and provide feedback to project manager, discipline manager and construction managers. Authority to issue MR for consumables like garnets, paints. Review project specifications, industry standards, data sheets, fabrication painting drawings and prepare coating application procedures and method statements for projects painting scope. Prepare coating execution summary and paint strategy documents based on complexity of structures and paint systems applicable. Prepare generic MTO database of paint systems based on project painting specification for technical evaluationof paint manufacturers. Monitor consumables usage through tracking systems to ensure possible shortages and surpluses are identifiedand addressed at the earliest possible opportunity. Ensure project activities are scheduled, planned and executed safely and productively according to project requirements and adhering to company policies and procedures. Maintain consistent interaction with other discipline production engineers, supervisors and QAQC to ensure project execution in a safe and productive manner thereby meeting quality requirements. Possess strong capability of decision making and be able to address all technical issues on the field on day-todaybasis. Monitor weekly progress and take corrective actions on a timely basis to avoid recurrence of overruns. Display safety leadership and address the issues to resolve safety observations in a timely manner. Arrange and chair weekly supervisors meeting to monitor project progress, team concerns and safety aspects. Conduct Toolbox Talks to frontline supervision and workers to ensure their full outcome and performance during project execution and thereby promoting the importance of safety and quality. Attend management walks to promote and display the company culture associated with safety, quality, and productivity.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree / Diploma in a relevant discipline. NACE Level II Qualified. At least 3 years’ experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Construction Industry Excellent communications skills (written and oral) in the English language. Well versed with MS Office and good Computer knowledge.
