Roles & Responsibilities

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer orders and project deadlines while optimizing resource utilization.Development Production Process: Contribute to the development and enhancement of production processes.Resource Management: Allocate manpower, machinery, and equipment efficiently to maximize production outputQuality Assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards by implementing quality control processes and conducting regular inspections.Cost Management: Monitor production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement efficient production methodsTeam Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate production teams to achieve production targets and maintain a positive work environment.Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and streamline operations.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages or excess stock.Reporting: Generate production reports, performance metrics, and other relevant data for management review.Brief Description Of ActivitiesPlan and execute production activities, considering customer orders and project specifications.Champion safety guidelines and regulations within the production area.Provide guidance and supervision to production teams to ensure smooth operations.Collaborate with the design team to evaluate design feasibility for production.Monitor and manage production processes for accuracy and efficiency.Implement rigorous quality control measures to uphold product quality.Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Address production-related challenges and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Optimize resource allocation to meet production targets effectively.Job requirementsMINIMUM EXPERIENCEExperience in a Joinery company is a must.At least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role, preferablyProvide leadership, guidance, and direction to production supervisors and teams.Set performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching as needed.Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture within the production department.TECHNICAL KSAs/ CERTIFICATIONS,EDUCATION ETC.A degree in engineering, construction management, or a related fieldExpertise in woodworking machinery, equipment, and tool'sCertification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies is advantageous.Proficiency in CAD software for design evaluation and production planning.Exceptional leadership, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBenefitsIn return, we offer you a path towards your most rewarding career and an opportunity to be part of one of the leading family groups within the UAE.
