Production Manager OPERATIONS

Production Manager (French Speaking) Location: Dubai (3–6 months) → Burkina Faso (Permanent Placement) Industry: Metal Processing Plant About the Role We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee and lead the operations of a metal processing plant. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing industrial operations, exceptional leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to ensure efficiency, compliance, and profitability across all processes. The role will begin with a 3–6-month training and transition period in Dubai, after which the selected candidate will relocate to Burkina Faso to take full operational charge of the plant. • Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control and logistics • Develop and execute operational strategies to ensure optimal performance and adherence to global standards. • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Manage budgets, cost control, and efficiency improvement initiatives. • Prepare regular operational reports for senior management. • Supervises the full refining cycle, including smelting, chemical refining, electrolysis, filtration, and casting. Ensures that standard operating procedures are followed and continuously improved. • Ensures all gold products meet required purity standards and customer specifications. Works closely with the assay laboratory to verify metal content and resolve discrepancies. • Promotes a safe working environment by enforcing refinery safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Oversees proper handling of chemicals and molten metals. Conducts safety briefings, audits, and risk assessments, and ensures corrective actions are implemented promptly.
