The Program Accreditation Coordinator will provide leadership in guaranteeing comprehensive and thorough compliance with all standards and requirements of the accrediting bodies at the College, program and course levels. Given the considerable number of programs the University offers (current and proposed) as well as the frequency of substantive change and curricula change proposals, managing the accreditation and re-accreditation process and activities is an ongoing, full-time task. This dedicated individual will regularly monitor standard changes, and plan and implement initiatives to properly comply with accreditation organization requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinating with, guiding and supporting the relevant Colleges and Departments to ensure the meeting of all standards, requirements and deadlines for accreditation/reaccreditation documentation and activities.
Facilitating the identification and reporting of relevant new program, program review, and substantive and/or curriculum changes to the appropriate various accrediting bodies.
Coordinating and monitoring the implementation of, and adherence to, an efficient timeline to address any issues raised by the various accrediting bodies, ensuring effective and timely responses to accreditation organization recommendations.
Ensuring, monitoring and documenting any institutional, campus and/or program specific restrictions imposed by the accrediting bodies related to provision and/or student intake, etc.
Coordinating the documentation and compliances requirements for Joint Degrees, partnerships, and Professional Certifications.
Working collaboratively with faculty and program leads to ensure successful program design, development and documentation.
Project-leading and facilitating timely, well-planned and organized visits by accreditation bodies in coordination with the relevant Departments and Colleges, and conducting post-visit follow-up actions to ensure prompt response to, and documentation of, accreditation body requests or requirements.
Aiding Colleges in facilitating the alignment of programs to appropriately beneficial professional organizations specific to their disciplines; and supporting the development of any custom programs for the local industries to meet the requirements of the local accreditation bodies.
Liaising with Executive Offices, Deans and Heads of Service, and other stakeholders, to maintain oversight of progress on key projects that are of relevance to accreditation.
Assuring confidence to other Senior Executives that key projects are being managed effectively and that agreed-upon goals will be delivered on time.

Qualifications & Skills:
Master s degree with a minimum 2-3 experience in higher education accreditation, program/curricula management or related field.
Experience with program development and accreditation.
Knowledge of higher education accreditation processes, standards and requirements.
Familiarity with relevant accreditation bodies and organizations.
Knowledge of program design and development process.
Experience in institutional research, educational evaluation, or related field.
Ability to engage effectively with, and serve as an accreditation resource for, faculty and staff.
Highly developed written and oral communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with persons from diverse backgrounds.
English is a must, Arabic preferred
