Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Support the Head of PMO and Project Manager to develop a comprehensive project plan outlining the schedule, budget, and resources required for the Project.

Develop and maintain the project budget for the different phases of the Project.

Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with the approved budget.

Track and report on cost variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

Prepare regular financial reports, including cash flow forecasts.

Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Present financial updates to project stakeholders and management.

Assist in the development and maintenance of the Overall project schedule.

Monitor the Contractor schedule performance and identify any deviations or delays.

Collaborate with the Project Manager and engineering teams to address schedule challenges.

Provide early warnings for potential deviations from the project plan.

Calculate, analyse, and report the key Cost Performance Indicators (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI). Provide regular project control status reports to project stakeholders.

Forecast project outcomes (cost and schedule) and recommend corrective actions.

Communicate key project control metrics, trends, and issues to the Project Manager and relevant teams.

Implement and oversee the change management process for the Project.

Evaluate and process change requests, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

Assess the impact of changes on project cost and schedule.

Maintain the project risk register and regularly update risk assessments.

Supervise the Document Control Team and activities.

Provide clear direction, motivation, and support to the team.

Ensure effective communication between project control and other project functions

Ensure that the Contractor complies with contract terms related to project control.

Review and validate invoices and progress reports submitted by the Contractors.

Address any discrepancies or issues related to contract compliance.
