Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, supervise, and control all technical, commercial, financial, and administrative functions of assigned infrastructure design projects
  • Oversee development and implementation of project execution plans, health and safety plans, and quality assurance and quality control procedures
  • Establish program requirements and ensure all design deliverables meet agreed scope, quality, and performance criteriabr
  • Assign responsibilities to senior project staff based on skills, experience, and project needs
  • Lead negotiations with clients and key subcontractors regarding scope changes, variations, and commercial matters
  • Support business development activities by marketing services and securing additional work with existing clients
  • Ensure timely follow-up on project instructions, commitments, and action items
  • Prepare and distribute project summaries and status information to project teams and stakeholders
  • Provide input into performance reviews, development plans, and succession planning for key team members
  • Mobilize company resources across offices and departments to form effective multidisciplinary project teams
  • Coordinate with office facilities teams to address project space and resource requirements
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans in coordination with discipline leads
  • Implement recovery plans to address potential cost overruns, delays, or scope changes and advise clients and management accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and timely change orders and commercial records
  • Promote technical and commercial excellence through consistent application of quality management processes
  • Represent Parsons with clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and public stakeholders as required
  • Monitor and report project performance, milestones, risks, and impacts on cost and schedulebr
  • Chair weekly project meetings to review status, risks, and action plans

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related technical or business discipline

  • Minimum of 20 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven project management leadership on large or complex infrastructure design projects
  • Strong experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and client relationships
  • Professional registration or chartership is preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
