Project Engineer – Civil (Substation) Emarat Aloula Contracting

We, at Emarat Aloula is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Civil to manage and support the execution of high-voltage substation projects, with primary focus on 132kV substations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil works, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, schedules, and authority requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil works for 132kV substation projects, including foundations, structures, buildings, and associated infrastructure.

• Ensure project execution in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and authority standards.

• Coordinate with electrical, MEP, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure integrated project delivery.

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and utility authorities during design, construction, and inspection stages.

• Monitor project progress, manpower, and resources to meet schedule and quality objectives.

• Review and manage shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and RFIs.

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and quality standards at site.

• Identify construction issues and propose technical and practical solutions.

• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.

• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to project management.
