Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of fire fighting projects, from initial concept and design phase to installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and site surveys to identify potential fire hazards and determine appropriate fire protection solutions.
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for fire suppression systems, including sprinklers, fire hydrants, and fire alarms.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to ensure seamless integration of fire protection systems.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and material selections, verifying compliance with project specifications and industry best practices.
  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, monitoring progress, and proactively addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, resolving technical challenges and ensuring efficient project execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of fire protection systems.
  • Proven experience working on large-scale construction projects within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar industries is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and make sound technical decisions under pressure.
