Job Summary

The Project Engineer – Fire Rated Steel Doors will be responsible for the execution and delivery of projects in line with NAFFCO’s quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. The role demands strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and the ability to drive projects from design stage through installation and final handover.

Desired Candidate Profile

Project Execution & Control

  • Execute fire-rated steel door projects in line with approved scope, timelines, and budget

  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to delivery schedules

  • Coordinate closely with internal departments including design, production, procurement, and QA/QC

Technical & Design Coordination

  • Review shop drawings, IFC drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Ensure all systems comply with international fire safety standards (UL, NFPA, BS, EN)

  • Liaise with consultants and clients to secure approvals and resolve technical issues

Site Execution & Supervision

  • Supervise installation works at site, ensuring compliance with approved methods and safety standards

  • Verify proper installation, alignment, and sealing of fire-rated doors

  • Conduct site inspections and resolve issues to maintain project continuity

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

  • 3–7 years of experience in fire-rated doors, steel fabrication, or related construction projects
