Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with architects and designers to ensure fitout specifications meet project requirements and client expectations.
- Manage project timelines by developing detailed schedules and tracking progress against key milestones.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, budgets, and change orders, to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve any issues that arise during the fitout process.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and foster collaboration among team members.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work complies with industry standards and client specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets, monitoring expenditures to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, helping to troubleshoot and solve engineering challenges.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- 6-8 years working experience for Fitout Projects with mega fitout companies preferable have hotel or similar project experience
- Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCEare preferred to ensure structured project delivery.
- Experience in commercial fitouts is crucial to navigate the complexities of office, retail, or hospitality spaces.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software is necessary for effective project visualization and planning.
- Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory, with additional language proficiency being a plus.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively is essential to drive project success.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to address challenges promptly and efficiently.
- A detail-oriented mindset is required to ensure accuracy in documentation and project execution.
- Physical ability to navigate construction sites safely and effectively is necessary for on-site inspections.
