Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and own project timelines and budgets for ongoing projects.
  • Review vendor selection, contracts, and oversee site execution.
  • Handle change control, claims, and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and Environmental & Social (E&S) compliance requirements.
  • Track project benefits in terms of throughput, cost savings, and quality improvements.
  • Prepare documentation and deliver training for a smooth project handover.
  • Report project progress through clear dashboards highlighting milestones, costs, risks, and actions.

Client Overview: Our client operates in Agricultural commodities, agrochemicals, food and FMCG products, and wholesale import and export. Focus on international commodity trading (agricultural and consumer goods, fertilisers, steel and scrap, industrial chemicals, FMCG), with a vertically integrated approach across the value chain.


Role Summary: The Project Executive will be responsible for coordinating and delivering capex and improvement projects (greenfield/brownfield, debottlenecking, utilities, automation) on time, within budget, and with a strong safety focus. The role covers the full project lifecycle—from business case development to handover—across Valency’s processing sites.

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of project management experience within the Food, FMCG, or Process industries.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master's in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
