Roles & Responsibilities

Role: Project Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi & Sharja

Key Accountabilities Of The Role

General:

  • Provide a high level of customer service and care.
  • Present the company in a professional manner in all business fields.
  • Self-development and continuing personal development.

Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures:

  • Analyses and document business process and problems to develop solutions to enhance efficiencies.

PMC:

  • Project documents (collection & review)
  • Meeting project parties (owner, contractor & consultant).
  • Verify progress payment percentage, prepare breakdown and project cashflow.
  • Review VAT refund eligibility.
  • Review Vat invoices and prepare the FTA report.
  • Ensure a high standard of report output.

Risk:

  • Monitor exposure to risk and compliance of respective PMC department.

Training:

  • In house training will be given

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

University Degree - Civil Engineer.

Good communication skills Good engineering knowledge

Previous experience:

Minimum three years' experience working in similar role.

Desired Candidate Profile

Role Purpose:Assist PMC to do review the progress payment documents /conduct site visit inspection for progress payments/ verify and approve the payment percentage. Prepare project file, project breakdown and cash flow.Review FTA cases (applications), contact the clients, review the tax invoices along with other documents, prepare draft of VAT verification report.
