Project Engineer- MEP (FIT OUT) Bernini Interiors LLC

We are looking for a qualified Project Engineer – MEP with proven fit-out experience to manage and execute MEP works in interior projects. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and as per quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and project scope for fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with design, architectural, and civil teams to resolve technical issues and clashes.
• Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor MEP works to meet project deadlines.
• Supervise execution of MEP installations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, low-voltage systems).
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, DCD, DM, etc. as applicable).
• Verify and approve materials, equipment, and site installation quality.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare project progress reports, snag lists, and close-out documentation.
• Enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards on site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP works specifically for Interior Fit-Out Projects (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, ELV.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC fit-out authority approval procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Revit preferred).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure.
