Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations to guarantee successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services, minimizing delays and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring compliance with established standards and preventing rework.
  • Monitor project progress against the schedule, proactively identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including detailed updates on activities, accomplishments, and any challenges encountered.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and other technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment and preventing accidents.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all site-related issues, effectively communicating with stakeholders and resolving conflicts to maintain project momentum.
  • Manage and control project costs, including tracking expenses, processing invoices, and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and contributing to problem-solving discussions to drive project success.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field to establish a strong technical foundation.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in construction project engineering, with a focus on EPC projects, showcasing proven expertise.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment, enabling effective decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Exhibit proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project), facilitating efficient planning, scheduling, and tracking.
  • Possess strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., OSHA, building codes), ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, enabling quick identification and resolution of challenges.
  • Show a proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to quality, ensuring successful project outcomes.
