Project HSE Lead / Manager Emarat Aloula Contracting

We, at Emarat Aloula is seeking an experienced Project HSE Lead / Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance on the TAQA Water Transmission Project. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with ISO standards, UAE regulatory requirements, and client expectations while driving a proactive safety culture across project teams and subcontractors.

• Ensure that the ISO 14001:2004 & ISO 45001:2018 standards are complied with.
• Ensure that HSE programs are consistent with entity policies and procedures.
• Assist in evaluation and selection of subcontractors based on their HSE performance.
• Provide necessary advice, information, and support in the effective implementation of the HSE Management System requirements and this HSE plan.
• Update the HSE Plan to the requirements of the activities being carried out when there is a revision.
• Plan and conduct Internal HSE training programs, initiate drive to promote HSE awareness and performance.
• Convene HSE Committee meeting & minute the proceedings for circulation & follow-up action.
• Plan procurement of PPE & safety devices and inspect before use as per laid down norms.
• Organize campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programs to promote HSE in the workplace.
• Ensure HSE performance monitoring system is in place to ensure the effectiveness of injury prevention and risk management policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all project personnel and crew comply with client and company HSE training and medical requirements.
• Provide HSE input for the proposals group bids.
• Ensure availability of HSE personnel at site and distribute personnel according to high-risk activities and geographical location.
• Conduct HSE audits and visible walkthroughs on regular basis.
