pportunity to join a real estate developer in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for the project management of the residential units and staff accommodation on the project site

Plan, organize and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems of the residential units, staff accommodation on the project site
Ensure the delivery of various project packages required for construction are in accordance with the project plan and delivered on time and within the agreed budget
Ensure all constructions comply with the specifications, drawings and quality standards outlined in the design phase
Analyze and provide relevant inputs to the master scheduling of the project from a construction perspective
Monitor and support site staff with respect to the quality standards on projects and ensure compliance with the specifications, drawings, adoption of best practices, adherence to safety standards, building codes and specifications
Schedule the construction activities in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines
Prepare contract terms and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with contractors in close coordination with the commercial team
Continually financial forecasting, keeping the team informed of forecasts and changes and managing the scope meticulously, knowing the costs for unplanned construction work or resources and keeping that set-aside
Conduct the required contract administration during the construction phase, taking into consideration risk management and mitigation measures, project scope, cost and schedule controls and quality assurance
Confer with consultants, contractors and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction issues and take necessary actions to deal with any emergencies
Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications and construction methods to ensure conformance to quality and safety standards
Produce reports on each project at agreed intervals, and whenever substantive actions are required
setting benchmarks to monitor progress
Liaise and attend meetings with Contractors, Consultants or Clients as may be required and ensure that the project’s interests are protected
Participate in the financial closure of the site/project and hand over of the physical assets
Act as point of contact between the developer and consultants / consultants
Set and agree individual goals for all direct reports and evaluate individual performance providing regular feedback and coaching in line with good people management practices
Qualifications
10 + experience within Construction or ITC
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field
Masters degree in Construction Management is preferred
PMP certificate
Knowledge & Experience
Proven track of record in delivering real estate development projects and in residential units construction
Strong knowledge in:
Construction Management
Use of FIDIC conditions of contracts in international construction
Quality Assurance and Management
Safety, Environment and Health Compliance

Requirements

Worked on the construction of real estate development projects including residential/staff accommodation
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field
Masters degree in Construction Management is preferred
PMP certificate

Strong knowledge in:
