Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for hospitality projects.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and ensure adherence to milestones.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

2. Operational Oversight

  • Supervise daily operations related to accommodation setup, events, or hospitality facilities.
  • Ensure quality standards, safety protocols, and operational guidelines are followed.
  • Manage handovers, refurbishment, and facility readiness for guests or events.

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead cross-functional teams, including housekeeping, catering, maintenance, security, and event staff.
  • Conduct team briefings, provide coaching, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and resolve operational issues promptly.

4. Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Select, coordinate, and manage vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Ensure all contractors comply with project requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.
  • Review work completion and recommend approvals or corrective actions.

5. Financial & Resource Management

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Track procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Approve purchase requisitions and monitor inventory levels.

6. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Liaise with clients, senior management, and internal departments.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, risk assessments, and updates.
  • Identify potential issues, delays, or risks and propose solutions proactively.

7. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to hospitality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and quality assessments of facilities and services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and operational records.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 8 years of UAE experience in the construction of mid-rise residential buildings (G+3 to G+11).
  • Delivered projects up to, or above a value of AED 350M.
  • Stakeholder management is critical and must be able to demonstrate same.
  • Good all round construction experience so a candidate with a technical background of either; Civil/Arch/MEP/QS, is necessary.
  • PM from a manufacturing background is a bonus.
  • Strong familiarity with Dubai authority regulations and site execution standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors effectively.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and decision-making skills.
