Job Description

As a Project Manager specializing in Facility Management, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the physical workspace and related facilities to ensure they meet organizational and safety standards. This position requires both strategic and operational oversight to manage the facility's daily operations while also focusing on long-term planning and performance. You will be responsible for facilitating communication between various departments, managing vendor and supplier relationships, and implementing process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a keen attention to detail to successfully manage multiple projects and ensure operational efficiencies. You will be the point of contact for resolving facility issues, and your ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments will be crucial in maintaining a productive environment.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement facility management procedures and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of facility maintenance and operations to ensure seamless functioning.
  • Monitor facility budgets, reducing costs and optimizing expenditures effectively and strategically.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services.
  • Ensure facility compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify required maintenance and improvements.
  • Manage space planning and allocation to optimize the facility usage and workforce efficiency.
  • Lead facility-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Develop emergency plans and procedures to handle facility-related incidents effectively.
  • Prepare and present reports on facility operations, costs, and future forecast to senior management.
  • Facilitate communication between departments, ensuring any facility-related needs are addressed promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to recommend and implement best practices in facility management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management or related professional role.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost optimization.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in facility management.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment effectively.
