Job Purpose :

Provide overall administrative and technical management on large, complex,
or multiple construction project from initiation to final acceptance by client.
Responsible for leading and overseeing the project; and guide the project
team, manage, monitor and control the entire project in line with the agreed
specifications and complete within the approved timelines

Duties & Responsibilities :

 Responsible for overall project management (of the assigned project)
 Provide leadership and direction to the project operation, including mobilization of equipment, site facilities, staffing, scheduling of in-house self-performed and /or subcontracted works.
 Act as the company’s representative with the client, engineer/consultant
and selected subcontractors during the execution of the project.
 Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors
 Ensure a comprehensive, active and well-recorded liaison between the
project, the consultant engineer and the subcontractors.
 Oversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan,
Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
 Monitor all work progress on a day-to-day basis to ensure conformance with schedule, contract documents and project budgets.
 Review Contract/tendering documents, to ensure a thorough understanding of the contract requirements.
 Manage multiple resources and maintain current knowledge of project and respond to administrative and technical inquiries.
 Schedule, attend, and participate in all projects construction meetings
 Participate in Subcontractors selection and contract awards.
 Review and monitor submittals and shop drawings.
 Monitor general condition costs and maintain cost, productivities and budget controls.
 Exercise strict control over expenditures and initiate actions to bring them under control and provide input to regular construction progress reports to the Area Project Manager/ Head of Operations.
 Plans and direct all site activities related to the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities
 Assure compliance with contractual requirements and with the scope of work.
 Ensure all elements of plans and specifications meet cost and schedule requirements.
 Maintain change orders management log.
 Establish a proper document control system and ensure that the project
staff is trained to apply well developed control systems, programs and software’s
 Develop methods for tracking materials and resources
 Defines and manages overall project risk identification, control processes and quality assurance aspects of the project to ensure successful project delivery
 Assists with preparation of two-week look-ahead schedules for project implementation
 Resolve any contractual/legal matters or complications and assure appropriate action is taken.
Monitor performance of suppliers and subcontractors to determine
compliance with contractual obligations.
 Establish and maintain good relations with clients, partners and local authorities aimed at safeguarding and promoting company interests.
 Optimizes manpower, equipment, and materials allocation, and ensures no materials are wasted on assigned site.
 Ensures staff and non-staff employee’s safety in coordination with Safety Officer.

Supervises staff and non-staff attendance and productivity.
 Interfaces with suppliers to verify materials received.
 Oversees purchase and delivery of required materials, and inflow/outflow of
site store materials in coordination with Procurement Department.
 Ensure that all punch list items are resolved, client hand over is
satisfactorily conducted and that there is no prolongation of project.

Desired Candidate Profile

Relevant Experience:

 12- 15 years’ of experience with at least 5 years in similar position in the
same or any other related industry
 Previous experience with similar organizations in Saudi Arabia will be plus

Education & Certification:

 Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a reputed University/ College
 PMP / PgMP / PMI-RMP Certifications will be a plus
