A. Lead Engineers and accountability of all the projects across MEP Division.
B. Project Execution:
Making the plan for site mobilization, initial construction plans site mobilization and resource planning.
Make detailed BOQ; prepare material & Drawing submittal logs, procurement schedule and obtaining approvals from consultants.
Submit shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submittals and get the same approved from consultants, clients.
Prepare Project scheduling, allocation of works to various teams, labor groups & subcontractors and conduct daily, weekly meetings with staff, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Monitor the works across all sites and execute as per approved method statement, drawings and as per main contractor’s requirement.
Make quality and safety plan and ensure implementation of that.
Avoid occurrence of Site Instructions and Non Conformance reports and close the same if any immediately.
Make billing schedule and collection of payments from clients.
Maintain the profitability of the company and company’s overall image in good shape.
Assist other departments for technical support.
Develop a training program for new recruits and engineers.
Keep Commercial Control on the operations of the projects.
Take lead role in procurement process to minimize the cost incurred and increase profitability of the project.
Advise management on measures to be taken to maintain healthy profitability.
Introduce procedural controls & check lists for various activities of the Operations.
Budgeting and regular update of commercial aspect of the projects.
Timely follow up for billing, from the client.
D. Contractual Correspondence:
Develop skills and practice for commercial letters
Write timely correspondence for variations, claims, and secure company’s interest by proper contractual letters.
E. HSE, ISO, OHSAS, Compliance and others:
Good engineering practices to be developed within the team.
Maintaining all the documents generated during the process.
Develop Engineering manuals for good engineering practices and implement the same in various projects.
Ensure that adequate & proper types of Fire Extinguisher are available, maintained & ensure proper maintenance record.
Ensure electrical equipment (panels, cords etc.) are properly managed in accordance with legal requirements with appropriate records
Ensure emergency lights / arrangements (having separate wiring) are available on the premises in the event of a power outage & properly maintained & recorded
Ensure all the premises/work/storage area are having well lighted and adequate ventilation/exhaust facility
