We are looking for a ONESOURCE Consulting Project Manager to come join our rapidly expanding consulting organization in Indirect Tax as we move into the next phase of our exciting history you ll get the chance to work with very talented and experienced teams at Thomson Reuters, who all possess the desire and skills to make this a wildly successful organization.

The ONESOURCE Consulting Project Manager Is responsible for implementing and delivering our software implementation projects, working closely with other project team members, peer project managers and partner consulting teams.

About The Role

As a ONESOURCE Consulting Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Client Service - responsible for directing the project team; assumes ownership and responsibility for project delivery, project planning, work product, quality control, customer satisfaction and client management.
• Project Management - leads project planning sessions with team members to outline scope and approach. Typically works on multiple complex projects/issues at a time that often requires a strong subject matter expertise. Often works as a member of the project team(s). Identifies ways to improve the operation of own area and to achieve efficiencies and results. The incumbent is responsible to meet revenue and utilization metrics as defined by management.
• Communications/Status Reporting - maintains a clear line of communication with client and team. Prepares status updates for projects and regularly communicates and shares knowledge with rest of the firm.
• Leadership - spends a portion of time managing team or providing guidance. Has autonomy to make exceptions that follow established guidelines. Responsible for cost of own team/project, and/or contributing to forecasting budgets and recommending expenditure. Responsible for quality and timeliness of own work, as well as accountability for members of the team. Gives advice to team members and colleagues on functional matters. Broad decision making authority for routine issues. Provides key insights and formulates recommendations to the broader function.
• Provide consulting services to external clients.
• Providing deep subject matter expertise to organization in fulfilling customer deliverables.
• Travel : There is a travel requirement 30% of the time.
  
  
  

About You

To be our ONESOURCE Consulting Project Manager, you will likely have:

• 12+ years of Project Management Experience and 15+ years of overall experience within ERP or Tax or Technology Implementation.
• Working experience with Consulting Implementation projects.
• Experience in consulting or supporting clients in Middle East, Europe or India either over conference calls or in-person
• Must have good understanding of O2C (order to cash) and/or P2P (procure to pay) and Indirect tax business processes
• Experience working for consulting or professional services organizations ie. Systems Integrators, ERP consulting firms or Big-4 , specializing in the areas of trade management, supply chain management, transportation management and/or tax technology.
• Good communication and coordinating skill. Can effectively communicate project expectations to all team members and stakeholders including client senior management, business representatives, partners, customers, and consultants.
• Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. ONESOURCE TAX Determination, Taxware and/or Vertex and/or Avalara) is highly desired
• Experience with implementation and rollout of large ERP programs and/or Tax transformation and/or E-invoice solution implementation project management is highly desired.
