Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities



Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage procurement activities for marine projects and operations
  2. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  3. Prepare technical and commercial evaluations of quotations and proposals
  4. Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  5. Monitor project schedules, procurement status, and budget requirements
  6. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements
  7. Maintain procurement records and project documentation
  8. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to support project execution


Requirement:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the marine, offshore, dredging, shipbuilding, or maritime industry
  • Strong knowledge of marine equipment, materials, and procurement processes
  • Experience in project coordination, planning, and execution
  • Ability to prepare technical specifications, RFQs, bid evaluations, and procurement documentation
  • Experience dealing with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Good understanding of marine industry standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and engineering/project management software
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
