Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Office-Based)

Location: Dubai, UAE


For our client, a well-established contracting company in Dubai, we are looking for an experienced Project Technical Manager to manage and coordinate the technical aspects of multiple projects from the office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with all engineering disciplines across multiple projects.

  • Review and submit material submittals in compliance with building codes, regulations, and green building requirements.

  • Coordinate between the architectural and structural teams.

  • Manage communication with stakeholders regarding project updates and technical changes.

  • Lead and manage the project technical team.

  • Review shop drawings prepared in-house and by subcontractor.

  • Coordinate engineering works between subcontractors and the consultant.

  • Review IFC drawings, submit RFIs, and ensure alignment with project documentation.

  • Resolve technical issues and attend technical meetings.

  • Prepare reports and follow the project technical plan.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in technical coordination/management within a contracting company.

  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.

  • Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
