POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Property Manager, the Property Specialist Senior is responsible for Property Management personnel in support of property and material management compliance IAW FAR, DFARS, and the Property Management Plan.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Coordinate with Property Custodians and Material Supply Centers to ensure and maintain 100% accountability of Government Property and Material in accordance with applicable Government regulations and Vectrus KBOSSS Property Management Plan.
Provide assistance to the Vectrus KBOSSS Property Manager in order to effectively manage all Government Furnished Property and Materials to help develop and coordinate the implementation of Property policies and procedures.
Utilizes a good working knowledge of governing property and material management systems, programs, policies, procedues, work methods, regulation, or other established guidelines, to take appropriate property control and material management action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
Conduct periodic check on Hand Receipts to ensure Property accountability is being maintained.
Must have a thorough and working knowledge of the Government Regulations to include FAR, DFARS, AR710, AR735-5, D.A. PAM 710-2-1.
Assist and maintain 100% accountability of all Vectrus KBOSSS Porperty record through the Maximo Implementation System.
Provides management direction and oversight to include overseeing day to day property control operations. This may include but not limited to Custodial record management, administrative adjustment reports, cyclic inventory reporting, proper storage of propety and materials, sensitive items inventories, property and material receiving, shipping and preparation of all supporting documentation.
Ensures that employees are always in compliance with established Safety Policies, Regulations, and Reporting.
Provides assistance, direction, and information to employees as required.
Ensures that record maintenance is being performed by all Property Custodians and Material Supply Centers on a regular basis to make sure that records are updated and accurate.
Manage and maintain through periodic maintenance, administrative records and submit program status reports IAW established project operating procedures (POP), standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions (WI) and the KBOSSS contract.
Perform duties involving LTDD process, requesting, receiving, issuing, turn-in, accountability, inventory, storage and preservation of all Government Furnished Property and Materials.
