Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Proposal Engineer – Waste Water Treatment will be responsible for preparing, developing, and managing technical and commercial proposals for wastewater treatment projects. This role involves close coordination with the engineering, sales, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids that meet client requirements and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and prepare comprehensive technical proposals for wastewater treatment projects, including process design, equipment selection, and scope of work.
Analyze client specifications, tender documents, and project requirements to develop tailored solutions.
Collaborate with engineering, design, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary information and develop accurate proposals.
Prepare cost estimates, pricing strategies, and commercial terms in coordination with the sales and finance departments.
Ensure all proposals comply with local environmental regulations and industry standards.
Respond to technical queries during the tendering process and participate in client meetings and presentations.
Maintain a repository of standard documents, technical specifications, and previous proposals for efficient proposal development.
Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and contributing to marketing materials.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends in wastewater treatment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate with Minimum 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment project proposal preparation or related engineering roles.
Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and industry standards.
Experience with project cost estimation and tendering procedures.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
