Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat individuals suffering from psychological distress.

Develop treatment and prevention plans. Provide psychological treatment. Administer and interpret psychological assessment and testing. Conduct psychological research.

Desired Candidate Profile

MUST have at least 5 yrs relevant experience in a Clinic / Out Patient setting, specializing in Addiction Therapy.

MUST hold DoH license or eligibility.

MUST have excellent communication and Arabic language skills + English.

IDEALLY already locally based in UAE with residency Visa.

Working in a half-way house model for people with addictions, residential space for 18 people, following a comprehensive recovery program individual and group therapy (CBT, DBT etc), vocational training, physical therapy. Outpatient follow up.

Full MDT including psychiatry, psychology, peer recovery workers, support workers, nurses, GP etc.

Not a detox facility so anyone in the program will have already been detoxed in a medical facility or not need one.

Must be able to join within 3 months.
