Our Daycare center, schools, and clinics, which focuses on providing treatment for special needs children, is looking for a compassionate, forward-thinking psychologist who excels at assessing patients s/children's strengths and weaknesses and devising a creative but effective treatment plan. We operate a high energy, positive thinking environment.
Duties:
Assess children for psychological or behavioral disorders
Administer psychotherapy and psychometric tests in conducting diagnosis
Provide suitable treatment plans that address various psychological challenges
Engage child patients in counseling/therapy sessions
Design and implement behavior modification programs as part of a psychological treatment plan
Collaborate with parents of a child to oversee the recovery process of a child
Address problems such as bullying, depression, learning difficulties, and various other social/mental health condition in children by providing appropriate psychological intervention
Identify abuse in children and take appropriate steps to curb the situation, as well as provide rehabilitation for the affected child
Organize educational programs for patents
Supervise the training and activities of child psychologist interns and trainees
Carry out research and surveys to develop more effective treatment strategy
Participate in workshops and case conferences where developments in child psychology are discussed
Monitor the treatment progress of a child and modify treatment plan when necessary to ensure development.
Review patients medical history and any referrals or notes from doctors or surgeons
Coordinating a child's care with other healthcare professionals.
Providing expert consultations to schools and daycares.
Regular meetings with the supervisor to follow the development of children and difficulties.
Participate in the training and orientation of new specialists and answer their queries.
Participate in activities that contribute to improving the image of the center and highlight the role of the department and the integration of the child with the community
Completing treatment notes and progress reports in a timely manner and according to school/daycare center requirements
Maintaining an inventory of materials, assessments, and supplies.

Master degree or higher in child psychology/ Psychology
Minimum 2 Years professional experience as a Speech Therapist
