• Plans public relations programs and PR and corporate events
Set KPIs for PR events to measure its effectiveness
Review the PR and community events proposed by Community Relations Officer to ensure the PR events align with the PR strategies and company objectives
Compile policies and procedures to ensure that strategic activities are implemented throughout the company.
Day-to-day management/implementation of deliverables
Develop and manage crisis communication policy
Identifying and securing speakers or special guests;
Assist in creating the brand identity strategy along with the PR Director
Monitors the public opinion all media channels
Represents the company if asked to by the Director in discussions with government departments, special interest groups, and other entities
Responds to media and public enquiries
Arranges interviews with media outlets
Prepares and distributes press releases
Writes, edits, and produces newsletters, brochures, and other publications
Coordinates and participates in the preparation of internal promotional publications to include planning articles, editing copy to conform to proper grammatical style, and supervising the printing and distribution of publications;
Conducts interviews, research, and write news releases, articles, and feature stories; maintain interface with departmental personnel to elicit news and promotional items of interest
Assists with the preparation of annual reports, business profiles, and other corporate documents
Assist in writing speeches and oversees the development of visual and multimedia aids for presentations
Organizes and manages special events, such as open days, conferences, and launching events
Assist in developing risk assessments and crisis management plans, and implements them to protect company reputation
Initiate market research studies and analyse their findings
Establish and maintain compatible relationship with suppliers with public relations arena
Develop and create strong relationship with media and social communities
Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the Public Relations Director
Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Related Field.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to build relationships quickly with both external and internal stakeholders
• Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in MS Office
A minimum of 6 years experience working in public relations or corporate communications
